Naomi and I did this little magic tree, it’s a way to grow potassium sulphate crystals which grow rather quickly and dramatically. We didn’t think it would grow as well as it did, just a few hours and it only cost us £2. First we put the little absorbant card tree into a little tray and poured a solution in the bottom, it soaked up the solution and soon some little needle crystals started. Here’s a little slideshow of how it grew.
